宋代中央官学是全国士子向往的最高学府，国子监和太学是宋代中央官学的典型代表。国子监是代表朝廷管理中央官学的核心机构，为朝廷决策提供咨询服务，太学是全国最高教育机构，为国家培养所需要的人才。中央官学逐渐制定了一套比较完善且严格的管理制度，各管理部门分工明确、各司其责，在一批学养丰富、管理有方的教官教育和管理下，为官学生潜心学业提供管理保障。中央官学的行政管理活动、教学管理活动和生活管理活动，构成了宋代中央官学管理活动的历史图景。
宋代中央官學是全國士子嚮往的最高學府，國子鑑和太學是宋代中央官學的典型代錶。國子鑑是代錶朝廷管理中央官學的覈心機構，為朝廷決策提供咨詢服務，太學是全國最高教育機構，為國傢培養所需要的人纔。中央官學逐漸製定瞭一套比較完善且嚴格的管理製度，各管理部門分工明確、各司其責，在一批學養豐富、管理有方的教官教育和管理下，為官學生潛心學業提供管理保障。中央官學的行政管理活動、教學管理活動和生活管理活動，構成瞭宋代中央官學管理活動的歷史圖景。

The central governmental schools in Song Dynasty, the highest educational institutions pursued by the students across the nation, were represented by the imperial institution and academy. The institution is the core management agency of the central schools to provide consulting service for the imperial decision while the academy is the central educational institution to train required talents for the country. The central governmental schools gradually developed a set of perfect and strict management system, with clearly-specified responsibility and authority of management departments. Educated and supervised by knowledgeable teachers, students devoted themselves to academic performance. The administrative, academic and routine management activities formed a historical picture of the education of the central governmental schools.
