薄壁件模型广泛应用于复杂且高精度的产品设计中,例如航空结构件、汽车覆盖件和注塑模型等。在模型进行有限元仿真分析前,通常需要对模型进行简化以提高分析效率。而薄壁件模型最有效的简化方式就是中面抽取,简化后模型转换为2D的中面模型。现在已经有很多关于中面抽取的研究,但是这些方法仅能处理一些简单的薄壁件模型,而对一些几何复杂的薄壁件模型无法处理。本文提出了一种基于NURBS曲面拟合的中面抽取方法,很好的解决了具有复杂几何的薄壁件模型的中面抽取问题。最后,通过实例验证方法的有效性和鲁棒性。

Thin-wall model has widely used in the design of complex and high-quality products, such as aircraft structural, the cover of automobile or Injection models. In order to increase the efficiency of the Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the designed models are usually need to be simplified before FEA. The most efficient simplification method for thin-wall model is mid-surface abstraction, the resultant model is abstracted to be the 2D mid-surface model. Nowadays plenty of approaches research on mid-surface abstraction. However, they can only deal with a few simple models, but for some models with complex geometry cannot handle. In this approach, a NURBS fitting method based mid-surface abstraction method is proposed, which is a good solution to deal with complex thin-wall models. Finally, several case studies are demonstrated the effectiveness and robustness of this method.
