The improvement of shipbuilding accuracy puts foward the higher requirments of the construction monitoring of the critical location for bulk carriers. The mathematical concepts of theoretical gap and allowable error have been invloved in the template and reference line using for monitoring the critical location structure. It proposes the optimization method with the comprehensive consideration of the feasibility of the ifeld monitoring to improve the accuracy and effciency, which can provide reference for the self-monitoring and ifeld inspection of the critical location in shipyards.
