This paper introduces the background of hyperbaric evacuation system for the saturation divers and research status at home and abroad, and sorts out the correlative IMO resolutions and Class rules of this system. On the basis of classiifcation and characteristics of this system, it describes the characteristics of hyperbaric lifeboat in detail, and predicts its development direction, which can provide references for the domestic correlative institutes and corporations to carry out the detailed development and investigation in the future.
