Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical features of multiple organ injury in infants caused by cytomegalovirus infection. Methods The medical records of 28 infants with cytomegalovirus infection admitted in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2012 were analyzed retrospectively and counted relatively. The clinical features of multiple organ damage caused by cy-tomegalovirus infection and the distribution of cytomegalovirus infection were observed. Results The age of the infants ranges from 4 months to 3 years old, the median age of onset is 18 months, including 12 cases ranged from 4 months to 6 months (42.9%), 12 cases aged from 6 months to 1 year (42.9%), 4 cases aged from 1 year to 3 years (14.3%). Of the 28 infants with cytomegalovirus infection, there are 18 cases with pneumonia (64.3%), 10 cases with hepatitis (35.7%). Conclusion Infant cytomegalovirus infec-tion occurs mainly on pneumonia and hepatitis, and most children who have cytomegalovirus infection are over 1 year old, early detection can improve the effect of diagnosis and treatment.
