近年来，随着新的妇产科服务模式的出现，护理质量逐渐成为社会大众关注的焦点，尤其是当前护患关系越来越紧张，对助产人员的要求也越来越高，这在一定程度上给助产人员带来了新的挑战。在妇产科的日常工作中，助产人员作为其中的一个组成部分，发挥着至关重要的作用。助产人员不仅要具备良好的心理素质、职业道德，还应该具备敏锐的观察力、创新能力、人际交往能力，并且具备较好的专业操作能力和理论基础，全面提高自身综合素质，才能为广大患者提供更好地服务。因此，本文主要探讨了助产人员应该具备的职业素质，以期为护理质量的提高提供一定帮助。
