前部缺血性视神经病变(AION)为供应视盘筛板前区及筛板区的睫状后短血管的小分支发生缺血，导致视盘发生局部梗死。本病分为非动脉炎性和动脉炎性2种，二者均可致视神经损害。目前西医治疗主要是在AION 早期及时给予糖皮质激素静脉滴注及球旁(或球后)注射，但长期或大量应用糖皮质激素可引起一系列并发症，因此，中西医结合治疗AION已越来越受到重视。
