在向应用型本科转型的大潮中，独立学院转型为应用型本科有其必然性和不可比拟的优势，但也存在着诸多困难和不足。转型为应用型本科，独立学院需在发展定位、专业设置、师资建设、产学研结合等多方面努力，同时也需要国家政策和资金的支持。

In the tide of application-oriented transformation,the transition of independent colleges to application-oriented university has its inevitability and incomparable advantages,but there are difficulties and shortcomings.Transition to application-oriented,independent colleges should make efforts on the location of development,major setting,construction of teaching staff,and combination with production and research.It also needs the support of national policy and funding.
