Honey is one of 87 goods of homology of medicine and food. Modern researches indicate certain honey can antimicrobial and antioxidant , also contribute to wound healing , relaxing bowel and accelerate alcohol resolving. However, there is a controversy over the effects of honey on diabetes and decayed tooth. By summaring and analysing the effective functions , ingredients and mechanism of honey based on the-state-of-art research, it provides the reference information for further research.
