公示语是城市的名片，公示语翻译直接关系到城市的形象。通过对张家口公示语翻译现状调查分析，探讨公示语翻译中存在的问题，并就如何改善公示语翻译现状提出相应的对策。翻译得当的公示语将为张家口营造一个良好的语言环境，不仅能够吸引更多的国际游客，而且还能提升张家口的知名度，有助于张家口申奥成功，促进中华文化的对外传播。

Public signs is a business card of the city. The translation of public signs is directly related to the cityˊs image. By investigating and analyzing the translation of public signs in Zhangjiakou,this study discusses the problems and how to improve the status of translation of public signs and put forward some corresponding solutions. Proper translation of public signs can create a familiar language environment for foreigners,which not only can attract more tourists,but also enhance Chinaˊs external image and promote foreign dissemination of Chinese culture.
