保障居民的饮用水安全是我国重要的民生项目工程之一，有助于推动我国全面建设小康社会，实现社会主义现代化建设。有关部门必须要做好农村居民的饮用水安全工程的建设和规划，落实管理主体，建立健全水质检测体系，建立完善的集中供水工程自动化监控系统，以便有效的提高农村饮用水的质量。
