单纯性肥胖是指无明显病因可循的体内脂肪堆积过多、体重增加或脂肪分布异常，以肥胖为主要症状，可伴有代谢方面的异常表现，会导致严重的健康后果，是2型糖尿病、心血管病、高血压、中风和多种癌症的危险因素，给社会带来极大的财力、人力损失。针灸治疗单纯性肥胖症疗效显著，研究近5年单纯性肥胖的针灸治疗现状，对指导临床治疗有很重要的作用。本文将就近5年单纯性肥胖的针灸治疗进行综述。
