“神”是中国传统文化中一个非常重要的概念。由于“神”看不见、摸不着，但是在针灸临床上又确实存在，一致认为“神”是非常奇妙的，非物质性的。通过对中国传统文化中“神”的概念及其内涵进行研究，特别是对《黄庭经》和《黄帝内经》中“神”及“治神”思想的对比研究、分析和论述针灸对“神”的认识特点以及穴位命名与“神”的联系。对《黄帝内经》提出的“上工治神”的要求进行探讨，寻找和探索针灸“治神”思路及理论基础，为提高针灸临床疗效提供帮助与指导。

Shen is a very important concept in traditional Chinese culture. Since shen is invisible, intangible, and it exists in clinical acupuncture practice, it is considered as a very wonderful and non-material thing. This article demonstrates features of "Shen" in Chinese acupuncture and the relationship between naming of acupoints and "Shen" by reviewing the concept of "Shen" in traditional Chinese culture, especially through comparative study of "Huangting Jing" and "Huangdi Neijing". The thought "miracle-working doctor treating on shen" suggested by "Huangdi Neijing" is discussed and is as the theoretical basis of acupuncture treatment, which provides help and guidance in the improvement of the clinical efficacy of acupuncture.
