诗歌中的“中国形象”,是诗人关于中国的“审美想象与建构”,是个人想象与集体意识交织着的民族共同体形象。严阵诗歌中的中国形象既有与时代集体“共名”的特征,也有自己独特的个性色彩。在严阵的诗歌中,中国形象与时变化地呈现为“革命和浪漫”、“欲望和沉思”和“自信与期待”等形象,并相应地采用“飘扬的红旗”、“醉人的红酒”和“怒放的红花”等意象来喻指。严阵诗歌中的中国形象折射出了当代中国的发展和变化的历史。

China image in poems can be interpreted as aesthetic imagination and construction about China by poets, and is also the symbol of national community which combines personal imagination and collective consciousness. The images of China in Yan Zhen’s poems not only reflect epochal collective characters but also special personal characters. In Yan Zhen’s poems, the images of China take the forms of revolution and romance, desire and meditation, self-confidence and expectation and so on, which are symbolized by the red flag flying, the red wine intoxicating, and the red flower blooming accordingly. The images of China in Yan Zhen’s poems reflect the history of cotemporary China.
