This paper analyzes the common problems in the teacher training of Southeast Asian and South Asian languages. Combined with the basic principle and characteristics of microteaching, it puts forwards the feasibility and the corresponding countermeasures of microteaching in the teacher training of Southeast Asian and South Asian languages to provide the effective ways for developing international and composite teaching staff of Southeast Asian and South Asian languages.
