江西省赋煤盆地主要为萍乐坳陷，坳陷带内二叠系龙潭组老山段煤层发育最好，本文主要研究该地层的源岩特征，其中包括：烃源岩厚度、有机质丰度、有机质类型、有机质成熟度。数据分析与对比表明，该区煤型气主要是“自生自储”，有机质类型以生气为主，有机质成熟度处于高成熟阶段，有利于气体的生成。通过研究初步掌握了江西省煤型气烃源岩的基本特征，为后期勘探开发奠定了基础。

The main coal basin in Jiangxi is Pingyue depression in which the coal development of Laoshan seg‐ment ,Longtan formation of Permian is the best .The paper mainly studied the source rock characteristics in this formation ,which including hydrocarbon rock thickness ,organic content ,organic style and organic maturity . Data analysis and comparison indicated that the coal-related gas in this area was mainly "self -production and self-storage",the organic matter tape was mainly biod ,the organic maturity was high ,which was helpful for the generation of gas .The basic characteristics of coal -related gas source rock of Jiangxi Province has been mastered by the research ,which laid foundation for the future exploration and development .
