In 2013 ,about 2 .38 million tons coal's waste heat are not used in China .In order to improve energy utilization rate ,the article discusses ways of energy saving and emission reduction during the coking process in iron and steel enterprises from three aspects ,including the improvement of coking technology ,comprehen‐sive utilization of resources and recovery and utilization of waste heat .Through the discussion of stamp -charying cokemaking and dry quenching technologies ,this paper lays the foundation of the implementation of energy -saving emission reduction in iron and steel enterprises .
