A design method of signal source in the double?channel quartz crystal testing system is introduced in this paper. The DDS (direct digital frequency synthesis) technology is adopted as the core of the whole system,a high?stability constant temperature crystal oscillator is taken as its reference clock,and an ARM micro controller is used to control the signal source. This signal source has the four output channels,wide output frequency range,fast frequency switching speed and high frequen?cy resolution capacity,and can set the amplitude and phase by programming. This design provided technical support for mea?surement of quartz crystal electric parameters,and improved the accuracy of quartz crystal measurement. The measurement and statistical results show that the accuracy of the signal source output frequency is better than ± 0.1 ppm,and long?term frequency stability is better than ± 0.1 ppm.
