1949年前，清华始终坚持派遣留学生学习世界先进的科学技术、融合中西文明，选派、资助了大量的留美学生，发掘、培养了一批杰出人才，为近代中国社会、经济、科技、文化的发展作出了巨大贡献。清华派遣和资助留学生的类型达10类，覆盖面之广、类型之多、持续时间之长，在国内高校中无出其右。
1949年前，清華始終堅持派遣留學生學習世界先進的科學技術、融閤中西文明，選派、資助瞭大量的留美學生，髮掘、培養瞭一批傑齣人纔，為近代中國社會、經濟、科技、文化的髮展作齣瞭巨大貢獻。清華派遣和資助留學生的類型達10類，覆蓋麵之廣、類型之多、持續時間之長，在國內高校中無齣其右。
1949년전，청화시종견지파견류학생학습세계선진적과학기술、융합중서문명，선파、자조료대량적류미학생，발굴、배양료일비걸출인재，위근대중국사회、경제、과기、문화적발전작출료거대공헌。청화파견화자조류학생적류형체10류，복개면지엄、류형지다、지속시간지장，재국내고교중무출기우。
Tsinghua University persisted in sending overseas students to learn advanced science and technology and fuse Chinese and Western civilization,selected and financially supported the most students studying in the United States,dis-covered and trained a large number of talents who made an important contribution to the development of Chinese social,e-conomic,science and technology,and culture.Tsinghua University supported 10 types overseas students.The sending o-verseas students of Tsinghua University is the most prominent in Chinese universities.
