推进应用型本科教育与高职专科教育有机衔接，是中国高等教育改革发展的必然趋势和内在要求。职业带理论、终身教育理论、高等教育大众化理论、教育生态位理论及国际教育标准分类，分别从社会人才结构、人的就业升学、高等教育科学发展、职业教育体系构建等不同角度，为其提供了重要的理论依据及支持。借鉴上述理论及相关观点，高职专科院校要立足高技能人才培养、守住专科职业教育阵地，应用型本科院校向应用技术大学转型、重点办好本科职业教育，共同为产业升级和人的全面发展提供相互衔接融通的教育支持。

It?is?an?inevitable?trend?and?immanent?demand?of?higher?education?reform?and?development?in?China?to?promote?organic?connection?between?application-oriented?undergraduate?education?and?higher?vocational?education.?Theories?of?Occupational?Spectrum,?Lifelong?Education,?Popularization?of?Higher?Education,?Educational?Ecology?and?ISCED(2011)?have?all?laid?solid?foundation?for?the?connection?from?the?perspectives?of?social?talent?structure,?employment?and?entering?higher?education,?higher?education’s?scientific?development,?system?construction?of?vocational?education.?With?the?support?of?the?above?theories?and?related?viewpoints,?higher?vocational?colleges?should?stick?to?higher?vocational?education?by?cultivating?high-skilled?talents,?application-oriented?undergraduate?universities?run?higher?undergraduate?education?well?by?transforming?to?applied?technology?ones,?both?of?which?work?together?to?offer?coherent?educational?support?to?industry?upgrading?and?development?and?man’s?development?in?an?all-round?way.
