As an unconventional oil resource, oil sand and its processing technology have attracted much attention at home and abroad in recent years. In this paper, main oil-sand separation technologies were introduced; their principles and influencing factors were discussed. The effective separation method of oil sand based on special oil sand conditions was also described.
