当前，中国正处于经济转轨、社会转型、文化变迁的重要战略机遇期、矛盾突发期和改革深水区，也正在经历以人口老龄化为表征的年轻社会向老龄社会的急剧转变。这说明，中国注定要在老龄社会的背景下建设中国特色社会主义。着眼全球来看，人口老龄化态势难以逆转，老龄社会将是未来人类发展长时段的社会常态；着眼中国来说，人口老龄化引发的矛盾将长期存在，迈入老龄社会将是未来中国发展面临的一项长期的基本国情。当前，中国正处于老龄社会初期阶段，如何解决日益凸显的相关矛盾，已成为全面深化改革和推动发展过程中面临的一项全局性、战略性的重大课题；未来，随着中国步入老龄社会中期阶段，相关矛盾将更加突出。面对老龄社会的基本国情，我们需要转变观念，适应新常态，顺应老龄社会的客观要求，通过全面深化改革，积极应对严峻挑战，充分创造发展机缘，为老龄社会条件下中国的可持续发展奠定基础，确保在全球迈入老龄社会背景下中国能够实现经济持续繁荣、政治长期稳定、文化日益昌明、社会不断进步和生态更加文明，确保全体中国人民都能有一个尊严幸福的老年期生活预期。

China is in the period of important strategic opportunities of economy transition, social transformation and culture variation at present, and also in the period of burst contradictions and deep reform. It is going through a sharp turn from a young society to an old one which characterized by aging population. It shows that China is destined to construct Chinese-style socialism under the background of aging society. Looking around the world, the aging trend is dififcult to reverse and the aging society will become normal in the long term future. Looking into the country, the contradiction caused by aging will exist for a long time, and move into the aging society will be a fundamental reality of the country during human development. Currently, China is in the primary stage of aging, and how to solve the related contradictions turns into a global and strategy task during the period of comprehensively deepening reform and promoting development. The contradictions are going to be severer when China steps into medium-term of aging society. We should change ideas, adapt to the new normal and comply with the objective requirement of aging society. We should also respond challenges actively and create development opportunities sufifciently through deep reform, and lay the foundation of Chinese sustainable development under conditions of aging society. It should be sure China will realize the aim of economic prosperity, political stability, culture prosperity and ecological civilization in the context of global aging society. And it is necessary to make sure the whole Chinese population have digniifed and happy old-age life.
