随着我国经济发展和城市化进程的加快，家庭和社区这两个最重要的融入社会的纽带的功能弱化，从而给老年人带来了被社会孤立的风险，基层老年群体社会整合也由此面临困境。如何促进老年群体融入社会，实现社会对老年群体的有效整合，成为应对人口老龄化、实现代际和谐乃至社会和谐的重要课题。沟通和参与是现代社会整合的重要方式，应通过培育社区老年组织，推动老年群体深层次的社区参与，重新构建和扩展老年人的社会关系网络，帮助老年群体获取更多的社会资本，改善他们的生存状态，使他们在获得社会养老支持的同时也实现其自我整合功能，从而更好地融入社会。

With the rapid development of economy and acceleration of urbanization, family and community, the two most important links have been weakened, which may probably isolate the elderly from the rest of society. How to promote the elderly’s participation in community and realize social integration are becoming important tasks of realizing intergeneration and social harmony in the process of population aging. Since communication and participation are very important ways of modern social integration, the government should offer expanded opportunities for the elderly’ s social participation, restructure their social network, and nurture social capital by developing community organizations of the elderly. The government should also give social provision for the aged, improve their living condition and ultimately integrate them into society.
