我国已经进入文化产业快速发展的时代，区域文化产业方兴未艾，民族地区文化产业处于起步阶段，仍以民族旅游为主。立足民族文化资源，培育和发展民族旅游文化产业，是民族地区实现跨越式发展的有效途径。湘西捞车古村寨是典型的土家族村落，民族文化资源丰富，但尚未转化为文化资本，未能有力推进区域社会发展。在文化产业大发展背景之下，整合捞车古村寨及周边古镇的文化资源，促进民族文化资源集群发展，实现对民族文化资源由文化自觉到文化自信的人文关怀，进而培育与发展民族旅游文化产业。这既有利于土家族民族旅游文化产业的开发，又是对民族地区文化资源传承与保护途径的探索，也是对民族地区社会经济发展新方式的尝试。

Cultural industry has developed rapidly in China ,and regional cultural industry is on the up‐swing ,but ethnic tourist cultural industry is in its initial stage .It is an effective way to allow the leaping development in ethnic areas by developing the ethnic tourist cultural industry based on ethnic cultural re‐sources .There are a lot of ethnic cultural resources in Laoche ancient village in Xiangxi where Tujia people are living ,but which have not been transformed into cultural capital .In the situation when cultural indus‐try is growing ,it is a special way to develop ethnic tourist cultural industry through integrating ethnic cul‐tural resources within the scope of Laoche Village and neighbouring towns ,forming clustering develop‐ment based on ethnic cultural resources ,and implementing the humanistic transformation from cultural consciousness to culture confidence .It is a useful attempt to develop ethnic tourist cultural industry and to explore the inheritance and protection of cultural resources as well as finding a mode which is effective to e‐conomy and society in ethnic regions .
