岩溶地区地下水资源开采是当今岩溶水文地质学研究的难点和重点，是直接关系人民生产和生活的重要问题。贵州高原斜坡岩溶地区河谷深切，大部分地区地下水深埋且集中径流，其储存空间分布和相互间连通的高度不均匀性，给地下水资源开发带来了极大的困难。笔者等通过贵州高原斜坡地带岩溶区地下水资源开采探寻，结合逆断层上下盘打井成败经验，指出逆断层作为一种常见的地质构造形式，水文地质意义上具有“拦水坝”作用，其补给区地下水含水介质可充当“地下水库”作用。

Exploitation of groundwater resources in Karst area is very difficult and important of the reaserach on hydrogeological,and it directly influence people ’s lives and production.Because of deep valleys in Guizhou slope karst area,groundwater is deep and Concentrated runoff in most parts,and it brings great difficulties to exploitation of groundwater resources.The author through the exploration of karst groundwater resources in Guizhou plateau slope zone,Combined with success and failure experience of drilling well upper and lower of reverse fault, points out that the reverse fault as a common form of geological structure,with “dam”role of hydrogeological significance,and the underground aquifer medium of recharge areas can be used as underground reservoir.
