The output of air conditioning is blocked for high temperature in summer, which not only affects the refrigeration capacity, but also hides danger to its safe operation; aiming at these problems, the wet air cooler can be used on the air side for reducing entrance temperature, so as to improve the heat transfer effect of air cooler, the economy and the high security of the unit operation;it’s valuable for popu-larization and application of direct air cooling. Heat transfer principle and working process of different types of wet air cooler are described through psychrometric chart showing the heat transfer process of direct air cooling unit and different types of wet air cooler; the advantages and disadvantages of different types of wet air cooler are compared, presenting the applicable condition of different types of wet air coolers.
