The piston rod was one of the key parts of reciprocating vacuum pump.It was impor-tant to find the result of vacuum pumps that have being running for one week by analyzed the ex-tent of the damage.In the result,we found it is possible to improve the running time of large re-ciprocating vacuum pump by making some measure.The results show that it is usefulness to im-proving the running time for 150 days.
