The feedback(FB) squealing suppression technologies of modern hearing aids include two types of adaptive cancellation, static initialization plus dynamic evaluation and only dynamic evaluation, as well as incorporated technologies for improving their performances, delay, highband filtering, frequency shift and detection, etc. This paper describes the essential concepts and the practical working principles related to these technologies, summaries applied approaches of various technologies.
