建立在 Ostrowski 的四阶收敛和 Grau 的六阶收敛以及三步迭代法的基础上,构造了一种新的求解非线性方程单根的三步六阶迭代法。此方法每一步需要计算三个函数值以及一个一阶导数值,它的效率指数约为1.565。通过数例算例与 Grau 构造的三步六阶迭代法相比,此方法的迭代次数减少。

A new six-order iterative method for the solution of nonlinear equations is presented.The new method is based on Ostrowski’s fourth-order method,Grau’s sixth-order method and three-step it-erative methods.The new method requires three evaluations of the function and one evaluation of its first derivative.Therefore the new method has the efficiency index which equals 1.565.Numerical compari-sons are made to show the performance of the presented method.The iteration number is less than the six-order convergence method of Grau’s.
