湖南第一师范学院是一所以培养小学师资为主的新建本科院校。近年来，学校通过大力弘扬教育传统、强化教育管理、加强养成教育，着力构建师德师风建设的体制机制，不断提升教师的职业道德水平，倾力培养学生爱岗敬业的职业精神，努力熔铸高尚的师德师风，走出了一条成效显著的师德师风建设之路。

호남제일사범학원시일소이배양소학사자위주적신건본과원교。근년래，학교통과대력홍양교육전통、강화교육관리、가강양성교육，착력구건사덕사풍건설적체제궤제，불단제승교사적직업도덕수평，경력배양학생애강경업적직업정신，노력용주고상적사덕사풍，주출료일조성효현저적사덕사풍건설지로。
Hunan First Normal University is a newly-upgraded undergraduate university focusing on the cultiva-tion of primary teaching staff. In recent years, with the efforts of publicizing educational tradition, strengthening edu-cational management, enhancing habituation-oriented education, the university has got great achievement in the con-struction of the normal students’morality and style by building teachers’morality and style construction mechanism, improving the teachers’professional moral level, cultivating students’spirit of profession respect and love.
