以紫花苏芡为母本、紫花刺芡为父本杂交，通过单株连续自交系统选育姑苏芡1号芡实新品种。该品种早熟，特性类似紫花苏芡，籽粒红褐色，667 m2鲜米产量90 kg左右，比紫花刺芡增产68.3%，适合春季露地栽培。
이자화소검위모본、자화자검위부본잡교，통과단주련속자교계통선육고소검1호검실신품충。해품충조숙，특성유사자화소검，자립홍갈색，667 m2선미산량90 kg좌우，비자화자검증산68.3%，괄합춘계로지재배。
Gusuqian No.1 is a new cultivar developed by using the consecutive pedigree selection breeding method and taking Zihuasuqian (purple flowering cultivar) as female parent and Zihuaciqian (purple flowering cultivar with thorns) as male parent. It is early maturing, its property is similar to Zihuasuqian. The color of matured seeds is red brown, and the yield of fresh kernels is about 90 kg/667 m2, its yield was 68.3% higher than Zihuaciqian. Gusuqian No.1 is suitable to cultivate in the open fields in spring.
