文章基于2011－2012年“中国老年健康影响因素跟踪调查”数据，利用多种方法，探讨有照料需求老年人的特征以及老年人照料需求强度问题。研究结果显示：年龄、居住地等人口社会学特征影响到老年人有无照料需求以及照料需求强度的大小；日常生活自理能力（ ADL）受限程度的加深更是老年人需要照料以及照料强度增加的重要原因。此外，一些疾病（如神经系统和心脑血管）会增加照料风险的发生；而另外一些疾病（如眼部疾患、消化系统疾病）则加重照料需求的强度。国家相关政策应依据老年人照料需求和强度的特点进行调整和完善。

Using data from the China Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey ( CLHLS) , this study has explored the characteristics of the elderly who need care and the intensity of their care needs. Our study has shown that socio?demographic characteristics, such as age and residency, as well as restrictions in activity of daily living ( ADL) determine the care needs and their intensity. Certain types of diseases also increase the risk of the needs and intensity, such as nervous system, <br> cardiovascular and cerebrovascular, and eye diseases. Governmental policies should be adjusted to the characteristics of the care needs and the intensity of the needs among the elderly.
