简要说明了扩径机在直缝焊管制造中的作用，并简单对比了机械扩径机与水压扩径机的适用范围，提出水压扩径是中小口径直缝焊管（Φ114mm～Φ711mm）最佳的扩径方式。对开发的水压扩径机组的主要技术参数和主要组成装置进行了详细分析，为设计水压扩径机提供了有力依据。

This article briefly illustrates the role of expanding machine during longitudinal welded pipe manufacturing , simply compares the mechanical expanding machine and hydraulic expanding machine ,proposes the best way of expanding the medium and small longitudinal welded pipe .Finally in this paper ,the main technical parameters and composition of hydraulic expanding machine are analyzed in detail ,and this provides a strong basis for design of hydraulic expanding machine .
