Cost control is the priority among priorities of the whole construction project in power engineering, and prelim-inary design review and cost control is one of the most basic links. In this paper, the author analyzed the importance of preliminary design review of cost of electric power enginee-ring, and put forward some suggestions, which provide refere-nce for readers.
