2011年，国家水质良好湖泊生态环境保护试点工作启动。为编制《瀛湖湖泊生态环境保护试点实施方案》，2012年6月以来对安康市瀛湖开展了多次实地调查。调查研究显示瀛湖水环境存在三大问题：一是湖区水质存在恶化趋势；二是湖区渔业资源遭到严重破坏；三是湖泊水体营养物质含量较高，存在水华风险。根本原因是，入湖污染负荷增加逐渐超过湖库的环境容量，湖内水生生态系统结构失调进一步加剧了这一问题。最后针对瀛湖当前存在的水环境问题和制约水环境改善的因素，结合目前国内外湖泊保护经验，提出了相应保护建议。

China launched a pilot project of good ecological environment lakes protection in 2011 .In order to draw up《The protection plan of Yinghu Lake ecological environment》 ,several field surveys had been conducted in Yinghu Lake basin since June 2012 .It was showed that there were three water environmental problems in Ying Lake:firstly ,water quality deterioration;secondly ,serious damage of Lakes fishery resources ;thirdly ,risk of algal blooms resulting from high nutrient concentration in lake water .The es‐sence is that rising pollution load of the lake exceeded its environmental capacity ,and its aquatic ecosystem structural imbalance fur‐ther exacerbates the problem .Finally ,according to the current issues of Yinghu Lake water environmental ,the factors of restricting water environment improvement ,and the current lake protection experiences ,the corresponding protection recommendations were put forward .
