AutoCAD is the core course of the mechanical engineering curriculum in higher vocational colleges, and the effect of the traditional curriculum teaching has not been very ideal. In this paper, based on the characteristics and teaching status of students majored in machinery in Iiujiang Vocational and Technical College, it will change the traditional teaching methods into the project teaching, and the practice shows that the students' ability of drawing and enthusiasm are both improved.
