Guangxi scholar Zheng Xianfu’s parallel prose expressed his attitude towards the liter‐ary creation ,reflected his view of parallel prose writing ,showed his fondness for the beautiful scenery in the South of the Five Ridges ,conveyed the deep friendship between him and his friends .Fresh and bare use of allusions ,the parallel prose works of Zheng contain elegance as well as the fresh and beau‐ty .The achievement of Zheng Xianfu’s parallel prose reflects the influence of the Central Plain’s cul‐ture towards the South of the Five Ridges culture ,and the South of the Five Ridges writers’ identifi‐cation and acceptance of the Central Plains’ culture .
