自上世纪70年代以来，研究者们开始在多个领域对兼有语法的生成能力与词汇的指称含义的语言形式—语块进行了广泛的研究，如二语习得、认知语言学、语料库语言学和教学法等。我国学者也在二语语块研究方面取得了一定成果，但在对语块的界定、研究对象的选择以及英汉语块的对比研究等方面还有待深入，尤其在语块存储及产出的心理机制和语块教学的实际应用方面还有极大的研究空间。

Since the 1970s, linguists have begun to conduct extensive research on lexical chunk, a language form that combines generating system of grammar and alleged meaning of vocabulary in terms of language acquisition, cognitive lin-guistics, corpus linguistics and pedagogy. Chinese linguists and researchers also take a lot of research on lexical chunks but still have a great study space and prospects in conception of lexical chunks, research object, and comparative analysis of English and Chinese languages, especially in the ifeld of cognitive mechanism of teaching practice of lexical chunks.
