自由主义与保守主义对教育的影响深刻而又显著，这种影响在我国近现代教育发展进程和当前教育改革中都有着十分明确的反映。自由主义教育观是世界自由主义思潮在教育领域中的延伸，它秉持自由、平等及民主等自由主义思想基本精神，广泛吸收科学和人文思想的新成果，形成独具特色的教育教学理论体系。在自由主义教育观的影响下，中国教育在如下几个方面取得了很大进步：学生地位不断提高；教育方式日益多样化；教育内容日趋合理。

The liberalism view on education is the extension of the liberalism in the field of Education .It has not only implemented the essential spirit of liberalism , but also widely absorbed the new achievement of the development of the human science and the humanities thought , so it formed ow n distinctive concept of education in the fields of the relationship betw een students and teachers , goals and method of education , curriculum and so on . To some extent , the liberalism view on education made great theoretical achievements , and promoted the historic progress of education theory and the great development of the education practice . However , the liberalism view on education also has some shortcomings , such as poor operability , too ideal , universalism orientation and so on . The Chinese modern education had been impacted by the liberalism view on education since it appeared . Under the influence of the liberalism view on education , positive shift of the Chinese education in the following several aspects:student status has improved constantly , education way has become diverse increasingly , education content has become more rational .
