The post‐modern education theory has exerted great impact on the educational theory and practice in China since its introduction to China . It has not only changed our education research methodology and the way of thinking , but also promoted the transformation and expansion of the themes of Chinese education research . Meanwhile , it has served as the public opinion basis for criticizing the examination‐oriented education , and provided the theoretical resources for basic education curriculum reform , w hich gradually led to the equal teacher‐student relationship the diversification of education evaluation .
