Purpose Through the standardized quality management of department, the medical quality is improved and the medical safety is ensured.Methods Through the analysis on present situation and existing problems of quality management of the department and the whole hospital, with the help of requirements of hospital evaluation standard at home and abroad for the quality management of hospital and department, the hospital’s quality management organization structure is built, the department’s quality management standards are formulated, and a standardized quality management operation mode of the department is set up.Results The standardization of quality and safety management of hospital and department is improved, and the conformity of the quality management of department is improved.Conclusion Through strengthening department’s quality management and continuous quality improvement, the hospital’s medical quality management level can be comprehensively improved.
