文章从医疗、管理和科学的本质出发，探讨了医疗管理科学的内涵，认为医疗管理科学应当以患者为中心，围绕医疗机构展开并兼顾政府的政策需要；界定了医疗管理科学的研究内容，认为医疗管理科学不应局限于传统视角，还应随时代发展着眼于医疗活动之前的疾病预防和其之后的康复以及患者满意度；从基于实证、与时俱进、信息共享和政策反馈等方面提出了建议；并从引导患者和发展社会监管等方面进行了展望。

Starting from the essence of medical treatment, management and science, this paper discusses about the connotation of medical management science, and believes that the medical management science shall be patient-centered and around the medical institutions, and it shall pay attention to the policy of the government; defines the research content of medical management science, and believes that medical management science shall not be limited to traditional angle of view, but focus on the disease prevention before the healthcare activities, the rehabilitation after that and patient satisfaction along with the development of times; gives suggestions on practice from real evidence, advancing with the times, information sharing, policy feedback and other aspects; and ifnally gives the outlook from guiding patients, developing social regulation and other aspects.
