Jiangsu province science and technology public service platforms are the important grasper of Jiangsu Science and Technology Infrastructure Program and a part of the Technical Innovation Project, designed for the technology research, resource sharing and service openness. This article introduced the views and functions of the public service platforms, discussed the practical needs of performance evaluation for the service platforms. It researched the evaluation methods and the index design and analyzed the effectiveness in practice for performance evaluation, and put forward some suggestions.
