半个多世纪以来，黄石作为矿冶文化名城，其战略地位具有一定的比较优势，为新中国工业化的发展做出了巨大的贡献，但到了国家工业化发展中期，受资源和环境的影响，黄石矿冶资源枯竭，城市发展速度趋缓，现已被定位为“资源枯竭型”城市。这就需要我们重新审视矿冶城市区域城镇化战略地位，以促进城市的社会经济转型。
半箇多世紀以來，黃石作為礦冶文化名城，其戰略地位具有一定的比較優勢，為新中國工業化的髮展做齣瞭巨大的貢獻，但到瞭國傢工業化髮展中期，受資源和環境的影響，黃石礦冶資源枯竭，城市髮展速度趨緩，現已被定位為“資源枯竭型”城市。這就需要我們重新審視礦冶城市區域城鎮化戰略地位，以促進城市的社會經濟轉型。
반개다세기이래，황석작위광야문화명성，기전략지위구유일정적비교우세，위신중국공업화적발전주출료거대적공헌，단도료국가공업화발전중기，수자원화배경적영향，황석광야자원고갈，성시발전속도추완，현이피정위위“자원고갈형”성시。저취수요아문중신심시광야성시구역성진화전략지위，이촉진성시적사회경제전형。
As a mining city, Huangshi has a comparative advantages and has made great contributions to the development of new industrialization in China since more than half a century ago .Along with the national in-dustrialization, influenced by the resource and environment, Huangshi urban development encountered bot-tleneck and the speed of development slowed down .Huangshi has been located as"the resource exhausted city".We need to reexamine the strategy position of Huangshi urbanization to boost urban transformation and enhance the strategic position of urban regional urbanization .
