线损不仅是考核供电企业的一项重要经济技术指标，同样，线损也是供电企业设计水平、生产技术水平及经营管理水平的综合反映。开展节能降损工作是响应国家建设节约型社会的具体行动，也是电网公司提高经济效益的内在要求。根据线损产生原因及理论，分析了线损管理系统的功能，通过管理系统实现规划管理，对线损进行多维度、全方面的定性定量分析，并可逐层追溯明细数据，使线损管理工作透明化，从而快速定位线损原因，可以全面、有效地掌握线损现状和发展趋势。

Line loss is not only an important technical index for assessment of power supply enterprise ,but also a universal level to reflect power supply enterprise design ,production technology ,and management . Energy conservation and loss reduction work is a specific actions responding to country establishing eco‐nomical society .It is also an inherent requirement of power grid companies to improve the efficiency .Based on the reason and theory of line loss ,the paper analyzes the functions of line loss management system and its extended functions .Through management system it implements the scheduled management ,analyzing line loss according to all aspects of qualitative and quantitative studies ,and tracing the detail data step by step to transparent line loss management work in order to rapid position the reason of line loss .In this way ,we can master effectively grasp line loss status quo and development trend .
