松花砚石作为清代宫廷御砚,深受市场青睐。松花砚石矿赋存在新元古界青白口系南芬组地层中,呈层状产出,具有刷丝状结构特征。化学成分和X RD分析表明松花砚石的矿物成分中93%为方解石,并含有少量的石英、黄铁矿、绿泥石。松花砚石硬度为3,具有0.28%的低吸水率。砚石主要为微粒状和细粒结构。松花砚石与红丝砚成分特征相似。

Songhua inkstone, the Qing Dynasty emperor inkstone, is welcome by the Chinese people. The inkstone mine locates at the Nanfen formation of the Qingbaikou system in Neoproterozoic erathem, and oc‐curs in layer with brush filament structure. The analysis of chemical component and XRD indicate that the 93% in mineral component of Songhua inkstone is calcite, and a little quartz, pyrite and chlorite. The hardness is 3 and with 0. 28 percent of low water absorption. The rock structure is micro and fine grained texture. The composition of Songhua inkstone is similar to Hongshi inkstone.
