内容媒体暴力观是在媒体暴力对儿童产生何种影响的争议中产生的。《童年消逝》一书中所体现的悲观主义媒体暴力观在帕金翰的《童年之死》一书中看来有以下几点不足：没有从正面探讨儿童与媒体暴力的关系；证据的刻板化；掩盖了儿童犯罪的背后真相。帕金翰所持的理性主义媒体暴力观从多个角度对媒体暴力进行理解，认为媒体暴力对儿童的影响是非直线性的。本文通过对这两种媒体暴力观的解读和比较分析得到了三点教育启示：媒体暴力不是导致少年犯罪的唯一因素；管制责任的履行既在家长又在儿童；教育是减少媒体暴力的负面影响的切入点。

The perspective of media violence comes within the dispute over impacts of media violence on children.The pessimistic media violence embodied in The Disappearance of Childhood involves many drawbacks in the view of David Pak-ingham’s After the Death of Childhood.Firstly,this perspective didn’t inquire deeply into the relationship between children and media violence.Secondly,evidences presented by author are inflexible.Thirdly,pessimistic perspective conceals the truth behind j uvenile delinquency.Rationalistic perspective of media violence held by Pakingham interprets media violence from various angles.At the same time,he thinks that impacts of media violence on children are non liner.Through the in-terpretation and comparison of the two conceptions of media violence,we can get the revelation:First of all,media violence is not the only factors leading to j uvenile delinquency;next,parents and children both have to bear regulatory responsibility;finally,education is considered as a point of penetration to reduce negative impacts form media violence.
