当前广西甘蔗品种种植的单一性形势依然严峻，甘蔗品种仍以台糖系列为主导。本文就广西甘蔗品种种植的现状、当前和今后一个时期广西蔗区优良甘蔗品种多系布局，提出：必须创新甘蔗育种理念，进一步加强甘蔗育种研究工作；必须加强蔗区甘蔗品种调研，进一步调整优化甘蔗品种种植结构；必须进一步加强甘蔗优良品种的引种筛选与高产示范基地建设；必须进一步加强甘蔗优良品种的繁育和推广；必须进一步加强甘蔗优良新品种配套栽培技术的培训和推广应用。这对加快推进广西优良甘蔗品种多系布局，促进广西乃至全国甘蔗产业的可持续发展必将产生深远的影响。

The only leading cane varieties in Guangxi is ROC varieties, which is now at the eve of degradation. This study presents the current situation of sugarcane production and approaches to implement proper varietal proportions of sugarcane in Guangxi. Suggestions were also introduced, such as innovative ideas on cane breeding and increasing research, development input in sugarcane breeding program, surveys to optimize the variety proportions of sugarcane area, appropriate varieties, the construction of demonstration base, the extension of new varieties; technical training and the optimum cultivation practice. This study should be of great value to the optimization of sugarcane varietal proportions and the sustainable development of sugar industry in Guangxi and in the whole country.
