Geotechnical engineering is the foundation of the design, with the continuous development of China’s economic construction, building projects gradually increase. Survey and design of geotechnical engineering plays an important role in the whole construction project, to provide the necessary technical data and geological data, it is the foundation and key step in the construction of building engineering. Because of the influence of many factors, there exist many problems resulting in geotechnical engineering process, seriously affected the quality of the project. Analysis of common problems in geotechnical engineering investigation, put forward the corresponding improvement measures.
