21世纪的城市建筑潮流导致了建筑与环境结合的单一，没有过多的融合，只是单纯地分别供大众活动，使得人们对于建筑与环境的认识形成了一个固定的模式。如今，我们需要一个新的融合方式，新的开始，要“空间复兴”。我们不再仅仅关注于城市快速发展所产生的冰冷，而是在原有的建筑或环境上投入对新建筑以及周围环境的思考与建设。
